The Twins won at Kansas City 7-5 Sunday after winning the only other game played in the series on Friday night.  Miguel Sano was solid at the plate going 3-5 with a 3-run homerun and 5 RBIs, Kennys Vargas was 2-5, Jorge Polanco went 2-5 with 1 RBI and Brian Dozier was 2-5 with a run scored.

Phil Hughes threw 5 2/3 innings with 10 hits and 4 earned runs to get the win and improve to 4-1.  Brandon Kintzler allowed a run in the 9th inning but still recorded his 7th save.

The Twins are 12-11 and will take the day off today before hosting Oakland starting a 3-game series Tuesday night at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:30.
