The Twins fell to the Kansas City Royals 13-0 Monday night at Kauffman Stadium. Minnesota managed just four hits in the game.

Twins starter Kevin Corriea lasted just two innings and was pulled after allowing six runs. After reliever Ryan Pressly allowed seven runs in just 1.1 innings, the Twins brought in infielder Jamey Carrol to pitch. The 38-year old set down the Royals in order in the eighth inning.

Kansas City has won 12 of their last 13 games and currently trail the Cleveland Indians by 3.5 games for the final wild card playoff spot.
