The Twins placed first baseman Justin Morneau on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday with a left wrist sprain.  The move is made retroactive to June 10.  Morneau will have his left wrist immobilized for the next 10 days.  Shortstop/2nd baseman Tsuyoshi Nishioka and relief pitcher Glen Perkins are both expected to fly to the Twin Cities today and could be activated from the disabled list tonight.  Nishioka was 0-4 at the plate playing 9 innings at shortstop and Glen Perkins threw 2 scoreless innings for triple-A Rochester Tuesday night.  Catcher Joe Mauer had 5 at-bats in a simulated game in Ft. Myers, Florida and will take batting practice against Joe Nathan today.  Mauer could be activated from the disabled list as early as Friday.  Mauer has been out since mid-April with leg weakness.
