The Twins surrendered a 3-run lead in the 9th inning but scored 3 runs in the 12th to beat the Astros in Houston 9-6 in 12 innings Tuesday night.  Glen Perkins allowed 3 earned runs in the 9th inning to blow the save, his 4th blown save this season.  Darin Mastrioanni had a 2-run double in the 12th inning to lead the Twins.

Brian Dozier and Trevor Plouffe each hit 2-run homeruns for the Twins and Josmil Pinto had 4 hits and 2 runs scored.  Caleb Thielbar thew 2 scoreless innings of relief to get the win and Josh Roenicke threw a scoreless 12th inning to grab his 1st save of the season.

The Twins are 61-76 and will go for the sweep of the Astros in Houston at 1:10 this afternoon, pregame on WJON at 12:40.  Righthander Liam Hendriks (1-2) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Jordan Lyles (6-7) toes the rubber for Houston.
