The Twins lost 7-6 to Kansas City Friday night to extend their losing streak to 6 games and drop their record to an American League worst 5-15 record.  Kansas City scored 2 runs in the 8th inning to break a 5-all tie and Minnesota managed just 1 run in the 8th inning and came up short.  Alexi Casilla had 2 hits and 2 RBIs and both Denard Span and Joe Mauer added two hits.  Brian Duensing took the loss in relief for the Twins.

Minnesota and Kansas City had their game rained out Saturday.  The game will be made up June 30.  The Twins and Royals play the final game of the series Sunday at 1:10, pregame on WJON at 12:40.
