The Twins downed the Orioles 5-3 in Baltimore Monday night to earn their 2nd straight win.  Francisco Liriano threw 6 1/3 innings with 6 hits and 2 earned runs allowed to get the win and improve to 1-3.  Liriano had just 2 strikeouts to go along with 5 walks.  Newcomer Jim Hoey threw 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief before Matt Capps allowed 1 earned run in the 9th inning to grab his 2nd save.  Drew Butera led the Twins at the plate going 2-4 with 3 RBIs and Danny Valencia went 2-4 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.  Minnesota is 6-10 and will play at Baltimore again tonight at 6:05, pregame on WJON at 5:35.  Righthander Carl Pavano (1-1) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Jake Arrieta (1-1) goes the rubber for the Orioles.  Baltimore has lost 8 straight games.  The Twins after the game called up righthanded reliever Eric Hacker from triple-A Rochester and send down reliever Alex Burnett.
