The Twins rallied for five runs in the top of the ninth inning but still fell 9-6 to the Chicago White Sox Wednesday at US Cellular Field. Minnesota is now 25-52 on the season.

Ricky Nolasco struggled again for the Twins, lasting 5.1 innings while allowing seven earned runs on nine hits and a walk. Nolasco is now 3-6 on the season with a 5.31 earned run average.

In his three years with Minnesota, Nolasco is 14-20 with an ERA of 5.31.

The Twins strung together some hits in the top of the ninth inning, scoring five runs and getting the tying run to the plate in Eduardo Escobar. However, Escobar flew out to deep left field to end the threat.

The White Sox host Minnesota again on Thursday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. on AM 1240 WJON.
