Twins Host Kansas City Tonight

The Twins host the Kansas City Royals tonight beginning a 12-game homestand and 4-game series at Target Field.  Minnesota and Kansas City will begin at 7:10 tonight, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Lefthander Francisco Liriano (5-7) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and lefthander Bruce Chen (5-2) toes the rubber for the Royals.

Minnesota is 41-48 and is 6 1/2 games back of Detroit for first place in the American League Central.
