With a minor league system stocked with players believed by experts to be future stars, the Minnesota Twins farm system is once again considered to be one of the best in all of baseball.

In his annual rankings, ESPN baseball analyst Keith Law ranked the Minnesota Twins farm system as being #2 in the MLB, behind only the Chicago Cubs.

Twins fans have likely heard of top prospects like outfielder Byron Buxton and third baseman Miguel Sano, who have been highlighted for the last couple of years.

Both prospects will be invited to Spring Training this season, with Sano as part of the 40-man roster and Buxton as a non-roster invitee.

New to the list is shortstop Nick Gordon, who was selected with the fifth overall pick in last year's draft.

Gordon, the son of retired pitcher Tom and brother of current Miami infielder Dee, is said to be a highly-athletic player with moderate power potential.

Other top prospects include pitchers Jose Berrios, Alex Meyer, Kohl Stewart, and Nick Burdi; along with infielders Eddie Rosario and Jorge Polanco.

Out of the six, Meyer and Rosario are thought to be the closest to making their major league debuts this season.

2015 marks the third straight year ESPN has ranked the Twins' farm system at #2.
