The Twins ended a 9-game losing streak with a 2-1 win at Seattle Tuesday night.  Francisco Liriano threw 7 innings with 3 hits and 1 earned run allowed to get the win and improve to 3-5.  Liriano had 9 strikeouts for Minnesota.  Matt Capps threw a scoreless 9th inning to grab his 6th save.  Michael Cuddyer went 2-3 with 2 RBIs for the Twins.  Cuddyer's 2-run single in the 1st inning accounted for the only Twins' runs.  Minnesota improves to 13-27 and remain 13 1/2 games back of Cleveland for first place in the American League Central.  The Twins open a 2-game series at Oakland at 9:05 tonight, pregame on WJON at 8:35.  Righthander Carl Pavano (2-4) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Brandon McCarthy (1-4) toes the rubber for the A's.
