Free agent outfielder Josh Willingham was reportedly in the Twin Cities Thursday night taking a physical and as long as everything goes as expected his expected to sign a 3-year contact worth $21 Million to play for the Twins.  The deal could be announced by the Twins today.

Willingham in 2011 with Oakland hit .246 with 29 homeruns and 98 RBIs primarily playing left field.

Twins General Manager Terry Ryan has said the Twins haven't completely broken off takes with Michael Cuddyer's agent despite the agreement with Willingham.  Cuddyer was reportedly offered a 3-year contract worth $24 Million by the Twins last week.

The Twins signed free agent 3rd baseman Sean Burroughs, pitcher P.J. Walters and catcher Rene Rivera to minor league contracts.  Burroughs in 115 at-bats with Arizona hit .278, Walters had a 7.20 ERA with St. Louis and Toronto and Rivera hit .144 with 1 homerun and 5 RBIs with the Twins in 2011.
