Twins Fall 12-6 to Cleveland Indians
MINNEAPOLIS - It was more of the same for the woeful Minnesota Twins last night, losing to the Cleveland Indians 12-6.
Lefty Pedro Hernandez couldn't make it out of the second, going just 1 2/3 innings, while giving up six runs off seven hits and a walk.
Minnesota starters now have a combined major league worst 5.25 ERA.
Cleveland came out of the gates quickly, scoring four runs in the first inning, and three more in the second.
Trevor Plouffe finished 3-3 with an RBI, Pedro Florimon also hit a two run blast in the 5th inning for the Twins.
The Indians moved into a tie with the Tampa Bay Rays for the Wild Card Lead with the victory, one game ahead of the Texas Rangers.
