The Twins downed the Padres in San Diego 5-3 Tuesday night.  Kevin Correia threw 6 innings with 4 hits and 3 earned runs allowed to get the win and improve to 2-5.  Glen Perkins threw a scoreless 9th inning to get the save, his 13th.  The Twins got solo homeruns from Chris Parmelee and Kurt Suzuki.  Suzuki's solo homerun was an inside-the-park homerun in the 8th inning.

Trevor Plouffe was 2-4 with a run and 1 RBI and Brian Dozier went 2-4 with a run scored for the Twins.  Minnesota improves to 22-21 and will play at San Diego tonight at 8:10, pregame on WJON at 7:40.  Phil Hughes (4-1) gets the ball on the mound for the Twins and righthander Tyson Ross (5-3).
