The Twins have agreed to sign free agent right-handed starting pitcher Kevin Correia to a 2-year $10 Million contract.  Correia is a 32-year old who pitched for Pittsburgh in 2012.  Correia was 12-11 with a 4.21 ERA with the Pirates.

He's pitched with San Francisco, San Diego, and Pittsburgh in his 9 year career.  The Twins have said he plan to sign 2-3 free agent starting pitchers in the offseason.  Correia is the first that they've signed.  The Twins have expressed interest in free agent lefthanders John Lannan, and Francisco Liriano and righthanders Ryan Dempster and Edwin Jackson.
