The Toronto Blue Jays got to Twins starter Kevin Correia early and cruised to an 11-2 victory Saturday night at Target Field. The Blue Jays took Friday night's series opener by a 6-5 final score.

Correia gave up five runs in the top of the first inning to set the Twins back before they registered an at-bat of their own. Adam Lind smashed a three-run homer, and Brett Lawrie followed with a solo shot to make the score 4-0. J.P. Arencibia singled home the fifth run of the inning for Toronto.

The Twins left 13 runners on base and were 3-10 with runners in scoring position. Oswaldo Arcia's single to score Josh Willingham in the fourth inning and Josmil Pinto's base hit that scored Trevor Plouffe in the eighth accounted for the two Twins tallies.

Minnesota will look to avoid the sweep when they host the Jays on Sunday afternoon.
