MINNEAPOLIS - Kevin Love put up 25 points and collected 11 rebounds as the Timberwolves picked up a much needed 120-98 win over the Washington Wizards on Friday night.

Ricky Rubio collected 11 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds for Minnesota. J.J. Barea and Alexey Shved both contributed from the bench for the victory, scoring 17 and 13 points respectively.

John Wall had 26 points, seven assists, and four rebounds for the Wizards in the action.

The Timberwolves are now 14-15 this season, and currently sit in fourth place in the Northwest. Minnesota looks to keep things moving Saturday night when they take on the Milwaukee Bucks, game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
