The Timberwolves held off Denver to win 108-105 at Target Center Wednesday night.  Nikola Pekovic led the Wolves with 22 points and 11 rebounds, Andrei Kirilenko added 18 points and J.J. Barea chipped in 17 points.  Kevin Love was held to 8 points on 3-17 shooting but he did have 14 rebounds.

Denver committed 19 turnovers while Minnesota committed just 13.  The Wolves are 10-9 and will play at New Orleans Friday night at 7pm, pregame on WJON at 6:30.  Minnesota played without point guard Ricky Rubio.  Rubio is close to returning from a torn ACL in his left knee.
