The Timberwolves beat the Portland Trail Blazers 108-107 Monday night at Target Center. The Wolves improve to 18-13 with the win and remain in fourth place in the Western Conference.

It wasn't always pretty for Minnesota, particularly in the third quarter when the home crowd was booing the Wolves due to sloppy play. However, the Timberwolves responded with a 32-point fourth quarter to pull away for the win.

Jimmy Butler led the Timberwolves with 37 points in a game he wasn't expected to play in due to back stiffness. Jamal Crawford added 23 points off the bench for the Wolves.

Minnesota will play at Denver Wednesday night at 8 p.m. The game can be heard on AM 1240 WJON.
