Timberwolves Play Rockets in Mexico City

The Timberwolves play the Houston Rockets in Mexico City tonight at 9pm, pregame on WJON at 8:30.  The Wolves attempted to play San Antonio in Mexico City last season but couldn't because of smoke in the arena.  The Wolves are hoping for a smoke-less game tonight.

Minnesota is 2-4 while Houston is 6-1.  The Rockets are coached by former Timberwolves executive and head coach Kevin McHale.  McHale and Wolves head coach Flip Saunders played college basketball together at the University of Minnesota.
