Timberwolves Pick Up Options On 3 Players

The Timberwolves picked up the 4th year option on guard Wayne Ellington and 3rd year options on forwards Wes Johnson and Lazar Hayward.  Ellington averaged 6.6 points a game in 2010-2011.  He was the 28th overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft.

Johnson averaged 9 points and 3 rebounds a game this past season.  He was the 4th overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft.  Hayward averaged 3.8 points a game this last season and was the 30th overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft.
