The Twins have lost 7 straight games after falling 6-4 at home to Detroit Saturday afternoon.  Justin Verlander threw 6 innings with 8 hits and 4 earned runs allowed to get the win, his 20th.  He becomes the first pitcher to 20 wins this season.  Carl Pavano allowed 9 hits and 6 runs (5 earned) in 6 2/3 innings to take the loss.  Luke Hughes was 2-4 with a homerun and 3 RBIs and Jason Repko hit a solo homerun for the Twins.

Minnesota falls to 55-77 and will host Detroit again today at 1:10, pregame on WJON at 12:40.
