Tigers Top Twins Thursday

The Tigers beat the Twins 4-2 Thursday night at Comerica Park in Detroit. The Tigers are now one game away from clinching the American League Central title, while the Twins lost for the 91^st time this season.

Trevor May had another good start for the Twins despite allowing two first-inning runs. May pitched six innings and allowed three runs on five hits with seven strikeouts and just one walk.

The Twins and Tigers play again Friday night.
