The Tigers beat the Twins 4-2 Thursday night at Comerica Park in Detroit. The Tigers are now one game away from clinching the American League Central title, while the Twins lost for the 91st time this season.

Trevor May had another good start for the Twins despite allowing two first-inning runs. May pitched six innings and allowed three runs on five hits with seven strikeouts and just one walk.

The Twins and Tigers play again Friday night.
