The Twins lost 4-2 at Detroit Wednesday night.  The Tigers complete the 3-game sweep of the Twins and send the Twins to their 10th loss in their last 12 games.  Miguel Cabrera hit a 3-run homerun for the Tigers off Scott Baker.  Baker allowed 7 hits and 4 earned runs in 6 innings to take the loss and drop to 2-4.  Drew Butera hit a 2-run homerun for the Twins.  Rick Porcello threw 6 2/3 innings with 2 earned runs allowed to get the win.  Minnesota is 17-37 and 16 1/2 games back of Cleveland for first place in the American League Central.  The Twins begin a 4-game series at Kansas City tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Righthander Anthony Swarzak (0-2) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Sean O'Sullivan (2-4) toes the rubber for the Royals.  Jim Thome left the game for the Twins in the 6th inning with a quad strain.  His status is yet to be determined.
