The Twins lost 5-2 at home to the Detroit Tigers Sunday afternoon.  Francisco Liriano allowed 6 hits and 4 earned runs in 2 1/3 innings to take the loss and drop to 6-8.  Rick Porcello allowed 2 earned runs in 6 innings to get the win for the Tigers.  Delmon Young went 2-4 with 1 RBI and Danny Valencia was 2-4 with 1 run scored for the Twins.  Minnesota falls to 47-54 and is 7 games back of the Tigers for first place in the American League Central.

The Twins begin a 10-game road trip and 4-game series at Texas at 7:05 tonight, pregame on WJON at 6:35.  Righthander Nick Blackburn (7-6) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and lefthander Derek Holland (8-4) toes the rubber for the Rangers.
