New Hampshire took a 2-1 lead in the 2nd when Joey Holka scored a goal for the Huskies to tie the game. New Hampshire took a 3-2 lead in the 2nd period and added a goal in the 3rd.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team lost 2-1 at Mariucci Arena in Minneapolis to 3rd ranked Minnesota Friday night. Ben Hanowski scored the lone SCSU goal and Nick Bjugstad scored the game-winning goal for the Gophers in the 2nd period. Mike Lee made his return as goalie and had 24 saves.

The National Collegiate Hockey Conference named its first commissioner today at a press conference. The new commissioner is former United States Olympic Committee Chief Executive Jim Scherr.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team managed just 1 point in the home weekend series with Bemidji State at the National Hockey Center. SCSU tied Bemidji State 6-6 in overtime Friday night but lost 3-1 to the Beavers on Saturday night. St. Cloud State is 6-8-4 overall and 4-5-3 in the WCHA. The Huskies will host Denver December 16-17.
