The Minnesota Wild (31-20-7) lost to the visiting Anaheim Ducks (29-20-11) 3-2 this afternoon at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, following the longest post-regulation shootout in Wild team history.
The Minnesota Wild topped the New York Islanders 6-4 last night. Eric Staal scored a goal and added an assist, and Luke Kunin and Zack Mitchell each scored their first NHL goals. Minnesota also got goals from Marcus Foligno, Jason Zucker and Jonas Brodin.
