Minnesota Timberwolves

The Timberwolves bounced back at Denver with a 101-97 Thursday night after losing at Utah Wednesday night. J.J. Barea scored 12 of his 17 points in the 4th quarter and Alexey Shved added 17 points for Minnesota. Luke Ridnour and Andrei Kirilenko each scored 14 points for Minnesota.

The Timberwolves lose 10-6-84 at Utah to the Jazz Wednesday night. Minnesota struggled shooting the ball again shooting just 34 percent from the field while Utah shot 49 percent.

The Timberwolves will play at Utah against the Jazz Wednesday night at 8pm, pregame on WJON at 7:30. The Wolves are 14-13 while Utah is 15-17. Minnesota will play tonight and Thursday without point guard Ricky Rubio.

The Houston Rockets downed the Timberwolves 87-84 Wednesday night at Target Center. Minnesota lost a double digit lead and were outscored 26-20 in the 4th quarter. James Harden scored 17 of his 30 points in the 4th quarter to lead Houston to the win.

The Timberwolves have been off since Sunday when they lost 94-91 at New York against the Knicks. Minnesota is 13-12 while Houston is 15-12. The Rockets are coming off a blowout win over Chicago 120-97 on Christmas Day.

The Timberwolves defeated Oklahoma City 99-93 at home Thursday night. Minnesota snapped the Thunder's 12-game win streak while ending their own 2-game losing streak.

The Timberwolves lost 103-92 at Miami Tuesday night to lose their 2nd straight game and drop to 12-11. Minnesota trailed 52-49 at halftime but fell behind by double figures in the 2nd half.

Timberwolves guard Malcolm Lee is out indefinetly with a chrondal injury in his right knee. Lee sustained the injury in the Timberwolves 108-105 win over Denver Wednesday night.

The Timberwolves held off Denver to win 108-105 at Target Center Wednesday night. Nikola Pekovic led the Wolves with 22 points and 11 rebounds, Andrei Kirilenko added 18 points and J.J. Barea chipped in 17 points.
