Max Kepler

The Twins will play the ALDS with outfielder Max Kepler. He is coming back from a chest injury which has primary impacted his ability to swing the bat without pain. Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me on WJON today.

The Twins didn't see the return of Max Kepler to the lineup Tuesday night in their 4-2 come from behind win at Detroit but did report that Max had a "good day" after taking batting practice.

The Twins won their 2nd straight game against the White Sox 6-2 Friday night in Chicago. Minnesota used a 5-run 2nd inning to take control of the game. Max Kepler launched a 3-run home run in the 2nd inning and Nelson Cruz added 3 hits including a solo home run, his 26th. Kepler's home run was his 27th.

Max Kepler singled in Ehire Adrianza Sunday after to send Twins' fan home happy with a 7-6 come from behind win over Oakland. Kepler finished with 3 hits including a 3-run home run and 4 RBIs on the day.

The Twins came from behind to beat the White Sox 5-4 Thursday at Target Field. Max Kepler was hit by pitch with the bases loaded in the 9th inning to plate the winning run. Eddie Rosario singled in the tying run prior to that in the 9th.
