Jason Zucker

The Minnesota Wild traded left wing Jason Zucker yesterday for left wing Alex Galchenyuk, defense prospect Calen Addison and a conditional 2020 first round draft pick. Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me on WJON today.

The Minnesota Wild got a 3rd period goal from Jason Zucker to edge Colorado 3-2 Thursday night. Zucker's goal is his 7th on the season and came midway through the 3rd period. The Wild got 2nd period goals from Mats Zuccarello and Jordan Greenway.

The Minnesota Wild blanked the Lightning in Tampa Bay 3-0 Thursday night behind a hat trick from Jason Zucker and a shutout from Devan Dubnyk. Star Tribune Sports Columnist Jim Souhan joined me.

The Minnesota Wild road tour stopped in St. Cloud today at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. Wild forwards Charlie Coyle and Jason Zucker were joined by Wild TV Analyst Mike Greenlay.

The Minnesota Wild lost 4-2 at home against Chicago Thursday night. Chicago scored 2 first period goals before Jason Zucker scored in the 2nd period. Bryan Bickel scored twice in the 3rd period for Chicago including an empty net goal.

The Minnesota re-signed forward Jason Zucker to a 2-year contract. The contract is a 2-way contract in 2014-2015 but a 1-way contract in 2015-2016. The 22-year old had 4 goals and 1 assist in 21 games with the Wild in 2013-2014.

The Minnesota Wild road tour came through St. Cloud Wednesday. Current players Nate Prosser and Jason Zucker and radio announcers Bob Kurtz and Tom Reid stopped at MAC to sign autographs and meet the public. Fans had a chance to play chuck-a-puck as well. Approximately 100 fans showed up to see the players. The crowd was less this year in part because of the lack of success the Wild have had lately and the still emerging names of Prosser and Zucker.

The Minnesota Wild Road Tour will be stopping in St. Cloud today from 11am-1pm at the MAC. Current Wild players Nate Prosser and Jason Zucker and the radio broadcast team of Bob Kurtz and Tom Reid will be on hand for the event. The group will sign autographs and meet the public. People can play the interactive game chuck a puck at the event. The Granite City Cafe with Jay Caldwell and Lee Voss will broadcast live at the event from noon-2 today.

The Minnesota Wild have announced that current Wild players Nate Prosser and Jason Zucker will be coming to St. Cloud Wednesday June 27 as part of the Minnesota Wild road tour. Prosser is a defenseman from Elk River, Minnesota and Zucker is a rookie from Denver. The Wild road tour will stop at the MAC for a meet and greet, an oppportunity for fans to receive autographs and for fans participate in pedal cart races.
