Former Twin, Tiger and Blue Jay and St. Paul native Jack Morris was not named on enough ballots to receive induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame today.
Former Twin Jack Morris came closer but didn't receive enough votes for induction in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Morris was named on 66.7% of ballots by sportswriters. He is 48 votes shy of getting induction. Morris played 18 Major League Season and had 254 career wins with an ERA of 3.90.
The Twins Winter Caravan stopped in St. Cloud Wednesday night. The Event was at the Paramount Theatre for the first time and drew nearly 400 people. Twins President Dave St. Peter, Assistant General Manager Rob Antony, former Twin Jack Morris, prospects Kyle Gibson and Joe Benson and broadcaster Kris Atteberry.
