Gophers Lose Big Ten Opener at Wisconsin
The 13th ranked Gopher men's basketball team lost at #24Wisconsin 68-60 Tuesday night in Madison, Wisconsin. Minnesota trailed by 4 at halftime and tied the game late but the Badgers prevailed in both team's Big Ten opener. Devoe Joseph and Ralph Sampson III each had 14 points to lead Minnesota and Trevoe Mbakwe added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Gophers.

The Gophers won at St. Joe's to improve to 8-1 this season. Devoe Joseph led Minnesota with 19 points.
