The St. Cloud Rox lost 12-9 at Alexandria Tuesday night. St. Cloud scored 7 runs in the 4th inning to lead 8-5 but the Beetles rallied for 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th and added 3 more runs in the 5th inning. Erik Kozel hit a grand slam homerun and Carlos Lopez was 2-4 with 2 runs scored including a solo homerun for the Rox. James Jensen threw 3 1/3 innings with 8 hits and 7 earned runs allowed for St. Cloud.

The St. Cloud Rox lost 4-3 at Willmar Wednesday night. Willmar broke the 3-all tie with a run in the 7th inning. Carlos Lopez went 2-3 with a homerun and 2 RBIs and Phil Imholte drove in a run for the Rox. Alex Roberts threw 1 1/3 innings with 4 hits and 1 earned run allowed to take the loss in relief. Tadd Johansen threw 5 innings with 7 hits and 3 earned runs allowed but didn't figure in the final decision.

The St. Cloud Rox used a balanced attack to beat Willmar 18-5 at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud Tuesday night. Carlos Lopez led the Rox going 2-4 with 3 runs scored and 1 RBI, Jamie Simpson was 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs and Erik Kozel was 2-2 with a run and 2 RBIs for St. Cloud. Zach Hirsch threw 8 1/3 innings with 9 hits and 4 earned runs allowed to get the win.

The St. Cloud Rox started the 2nd half of the season with a 9-8 win in 10 innings at Alexandria. Nick Rau singled in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning. St. Cloud scored 5 runs in the 7th inning and Alexandria scored 4 runs to tie the game in the 7th. Carlos Lopez hit a 2-run homerun and Phil Imholte went 2-5 with 2 RBIs.

Duluth completed a sweep of the St. Cloud Rox Monday night winning 14-4 and 7-6 in 8 innings. Tony Mollica allowed 8 hits and 8 runs (3 earned) in 3 2/3 innings to take the loss. The Rox committed 3 errors in the game. Carlos Lopez was 2-3 with 2 RBIs and Phil Imholte went 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI for St. Cloud.

The St. Cloud Rox lost 4-1 at Mankato Saturday night. Carlos Lopez was 2-4 with 1 run scored and Nick Tanielu was 1-3 with 1 RBI for the Rox. Andrew Urban threw all 8 innings with 6 hits and 4 runs (3 earned) allowed to take the loss for St. Cloud.

The St. Cloud Rox continue to come close but their losing streak has been extended to 12 games after losing 6-5 at Willmar Thursday night. Zach Hirsch threw 6 innings with 6 hits and 5 earned runs allowed to take the loss. Willmar scored 4 runs in the first inning. Carlos Lopez went 2-4 with a run scored and 1 RBI and Boo Vazquez had 2 hits and 1 run scored for the Rox.

The St. Cloud Rox lost 7-5 Sunday night at Willmar to suffer their 8th straight loss. The game was shortened to 5 innings due to rain. Willmar scored 6 runs in the 3rd inning and St. Cloud responded with 4 runs in the 4th inning. Carlos Lopez went 2-2 with 2 runs scored, Mark Rhine went 2-2 and Boo Vazquez was 1-2 with 2 RBIs for the Rox. Paul Schaak threw 3 innings with 6 hits and 7 earned runs allowed to take the loss.

The St. Cloud River Bats lost 10-9 at Rochester Tuesday afternoon. Rochester scored 5 first inning runs and held on to win. Carol Lopez was 3-4 with a homerun and 4 RBIs, Ronald Sucre had a homerun and 3 RBIs and Bryan Haar had a solo homerun for the Bats. Jake Smith allowed 6 hits and 7 earned runs in 5 innings to take the loss for St. Cloud.
