Brevyn Spann-Ford

The NFL Scouting Combine workouts start today and run thru Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. St. Cloud Tech graduate, Sauk Rapids native and former Gopher, Brevyn Spann-Ford is expected to take the field when tight ends and defensive backs are run through drills and activities Friday.

St. Cloud Tech graduate and Sauk Rapids native, Brevyn Spann-Ford has been invited to participate in the NFL scouting combine. The 6'7 268 pound tight end played college football for P.J. Fleck at the University of Minnesota.

Sauk Rapids native and St. Cloud Tech graduate Brevyn Spann-Ford has received another National College Football honor prior to the season. The University of Minnesota tight end has been named to the 2023 Lombardi Watch List which highlights the top Division I college football players each year.

St. Cloud Tech High School graduate Brevyn Spann-Ford has received a preseason honor. Spann-Ford has been named to the 2023 Walter Camp preseason 2nd team.

St. Cloud Tech's Brevyn Spann-Ford will wear #88 for the Gopher Football team starting next season according to his twitter account. It is unclear whether Spann-Ford will red-shirt or not his first year.

St. Cloud Cathedral's Michael Schaefer has been selected to the 2nd team on the Minnesota Senior All State team. Schaefer led the Crusaders to back to back Class AA state tournaments including a 3rd place finish this season. He averaged 24 points and 12 rebounds a game in senior year.

The All Star basketball series featuring the top boys basketball seniors in the state play tonight at St. Cloud State and tomorrow at Macalester College in St. Paul. Cathedral's Michael Schaefer and Mitchell Plombon, Tech's Brevyn Spann-Ford and Cody Landwehr from Sauk Rapids-Rice

The Tech football season came to an end this afternoon with a 31-7 loss to St. Michael-Albertville in the Section 6-5-A semifinals.
