The Minnesota Baseball Association's Class B and C State Tournaments are in their final weekend.

The St. Cloud Chutes defeated Little Falls 5-0 and 7-3 in the championship of the American Legion Sub-State 12 tournament Saturday in Sartell. Buffalo defeated Delano 5-2 to capture the Sub-State 15 Title.

The Cold Spring Rockies had a close run yesterday (Saturday) when they took on the Waconia Lakers in the Class C State Amateur Baseball Tournament in Hutchinson.

The St. Cloud Beaudreau's Saints clobbered the Blaine Fusion in the Class B State Amateur Baseball Tournament Friday night in Dassel.

A tight and exciting game ended in a 2-1 loss for the Kimball Express to the Waconia Lakers in the Class C State Amateur Baseball Tournament.

St. Cloud's Beaudreau's Saints got the bats going early in a 6-1 win over the Coon Rapids Redbirds on Saturday night in the state amateur baseball tournament.

The St. Cloud area will be well represented in the State Amateur Baseball Tournament this week. In Class C, the Sartell Muskies will play Sunday at 11am in Cold Spring, Kimball will play Ada at 11am Sunday in Watkins, Watkins will play at 11am Saturday Saturday in Watkins.

The Cold Spring Springers defeated Red Wing 6-5 Sunday in the Class B Super Sections. Cold Spring scored 4 runs in the 5th inning to propel themselves to the win. Cold Spring will play the Austin Hounds at 5pm at Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud in the Class B State Tournament.

The Sartell Muskies downed Clear Lake 11-0 in 7 innings Sunday to capture the Region 1C championship. Brian Schellinger went 2-4 with 2 RBIs for Sartell. Clear Lake defeated Mora 7-6 in 10 innings earlier in the day. Brett Stinogel had a solo homerun in the 10th inning to lift Clear Lake.
