The Timberwolves lost 113-107 at Denver Wednesday night and lost forward Kevin Love in the process.  Love was elbowed in the head by Denver center Javale McGee and was briefly knocked out.  He lay motionless for a moment before being helped off the court in the first quarter.  He did not return and was kept overnight at a Denver area hospital for precautionary reasons.  Love was diagnosed with a mild concussion and strained neck.

The Wolves fell behind by 24 points in the first half and rallied in the 2nd half only to come up short.  Ty Lawson made 4 free throws in the final 17 seconds and scored 24 points to lead the Nuggets.  Anthony Randolph led the Wolves with 28 points and Derrick Williams added 27 points for Minnesota.  The Wolves are 25-34 and will play at home against the L.A. Clippers tonight at 7pm, pregame on WJON at 6:30.  Minnesota has 7 games left this season.
