The Minnesota Wild lost their second straight game Wednesday with a 4-2 loss at San Jose. Charlie Coyle and Dany Heatley were the goal scorers for the Wild in the loss.

Former Wild forward Marty Havlat scored for San Jose just 1:34 into the first period, and Dan Boyle's power play goal at 5:19 sent the game into the first intermission with San Jose leading 2-0.

Minnesota tied the game halfway through the second period when Coyle, then Heatley, scored goals to make it 2-2. However, Joe Thornton's goal at 14:42 was the eventual game-winner for the Sharks.

Shots on goal ended up even at 33. The Wild take on Los Angeles late Thursday night.
