The Seattle Mariners beat the Minnesota Twins 14-3 Monday night at Target Field. The Twins are now just 12-19 at Target Field this season.

Minnesota starter Adalberto Mejia struggled mightily, allowing nine runs on nine hits and two walks in just 3.2 innings pitched. Things got so bad, again, that backup catcher Chris Giminez pitched for the fifth time this season, allowing two runs on three hits in the top of the ninth inning.

The Twins host the Mariners at Target Field Tuesday night. The game can be heard on AM 1240 WJON.
