SCSU’s Williams Is An All-American

St. Cloud State senior receiver Fred Williams has been selected to the AFCA and Daktronics Division II All-American teams as a first teamer.  Williams is a 3-time NSIC all conference selection.  He holds single-season SCSU records for receptions in a season (95) and yards receiving in a season (1,616).  Williams and offensive lineman Scott Ferguson have each been selected to play in the Division II All Star game, the Cactus Bowl.  The SCSU football team was 10-3 this season and lost in the 2nd round to MN-Duluth 20-17 in overtime.  UMD is playing for the Division II national championship this weekend.
