SCSU Wrestling Wins Super Region #3

The St. Cloud State wrestling team won the NCAA Division II Super Region 3 tournament in St. Cloud Sunday.  SCSU finished with 164 points with Upper Iowa 2nd with 155.5 points.  St. Cloud State's Tad Merritt at 165 pounds won the individual title at 165 pounds and was chosen as the most valuable wrestler at the tournament.

The NCAA Division II National Championships will be March 9-10 in Pueblo, Colorado.  SCSU qualified 7 wrestlers individually for nationals.
