SCSU Routs Upper Iowa In Bounce Back Win

The St. Cloud State football team earned their first win of the year 45-20 Saturday night at Upper Iowa.  SCSU scored 20 first quarter points and cruised to the win.  Michael Walker ran for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns, Phil Klaphake threw for 253 yards and 2 touchdowns, and both Eli Shoemaker and Ledell White had TD catches for the Huskies.

St. Cloud State posted 448 total yards compared to 391 for Upper Iowa.  SCSU lost their season opener at home to Sioux Falls last week.  The Huskies host Minnesota State-Mankato Saturday September 15 at 6pm.
