SCSU Men’s Hoops Drops Close Game With MSU Mankato Friday

The #8-ranked Minnesota State-Mankato men's basketball team defeated St. Cloud State 81-75 at Halenbeck Hall Friday night.

The Mavericks held the lead throughout the game, and led by as many as 16 points in the second half. SCSU made a late charge but it was too little, too late as the Mavs proved too much to handle down the stretch.

Point guard Shaun Jensen led the Huskies with 18 points and five assists in the loss. Jarvis Williams led the Mavericks with 22 points.
