SCSU Mens Basketball To Face Rival Mankato Friday Night

The St. Cloud State mens basketball team heads to Mankato Friday night for a matchup with their arch-rival Mavericks. The game is the only time this season the longtime foes will meet. Tip off is scheduled for 8 pm.

The Huskies are 8-2 so far this season and 4-2 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play. SCSU lost their most recent game in Duluth by a final score of 79-78 on December 21 before heading to winter break. The only other loss on St. Cloud's ledger this season was a 70-65 setback at Bemidji on December 6.

The Mavericks check in with a record of 11-2 overall and 5-1 in NSIC play.
