SCSU Hockey Plays #1 Gophers

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team will play top ranked Minnesota in a home and home series Friday and Saturday nights.  SCSU will host Friday night starting at 7:37pm, pregame on WJON at 7:00.  The Gophers will host the game on Saturday night at 7:07, pregame on WJON at 6:30.  Minnesota is 10-2 while St. Cloud State is 5-5-2.

The Huskies earned a split at Minnesota State-Mankato last weekend while the Gophers earned a split against Wisconsin last weekend.  SCSU will play a large part if not the rest of the season without top goaltender Mike Lee.  Lee had surgery on his injury hip this week and there's only a slim chance he returns to play again this season.  Ryan Faragher has taken over the regular goaltender responsibilities.
