SCSU Football Beats Northern State

The St. Cloud State football team defeated Northern State 27-14 Saturday evening at Husky Stadium.  SCSU led 17-7 at halftime and increased their lead to 27-7 in the 3rd quarter.  Phil Klaphake threw for 192 yards and 2 touchdowns and he ran for a score.  Brandon Geiss led the Huskies with 115 yards rushing on 13 carries.

SCSU is 4-1 overall and 3-1 in the NSIC.  The Huskies host rival, Minnesota State-Mankato at 1pm next Saturday.
