The St. Cloud State Husky baseball team captured the NSIC regular season title with a doubleheader sweep of Bemidji State in Bemidji. The Huskies finish the regular season with a record of 31-7 overall and 19-3 in NSIC play.

The Huskies took game one by a 5-4 final, with senior Brian Hansen plating Sean Borman with the winning run in the seventh and final inning. Freshman closer Reese Gregory worked through a jam in the bottom of the seventh to earn the save.

SCSU jumped out to a 4-0 lead after one inning of game two, then held on for a 6-3 win to earn the conference crown.

SCSU will be the top seed May 8th-12th at the NSIC Tournament, held this year at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud.
