The St. Cloud State baseball team played their first-and last-regular season home series Wednesday at Joe Faber Field. The rest of the Huskies' entire home season was erased by late winter weather, but the team will host the NSIC Tournament.

SCSU pitcher Scott Leiser was lights-out in game one, an 8-1 Husky win over Augustana. The senior threw a complete game two hitter while allowing only a single run.

Five Huskies (28-6, 16-2) had multi-hit games in game one of the double dip.

Augustana came back from an early deficit to win game two 3-1.

The Huskies scored on a groundout in the bottom of the first inning, but the Vikings kept SCSU from scoring again for the duration of the game.

Augustana took the lead with a pair of runs in the top of the third to take a lead, then added a solo home run in the top of the ninth for the 3-1 win.

The Huskies are scheduled to play at Bemidji State Friday and Saturday, weather permitting.
