The Sartell High School boys basketball team was upset by Fergus Falls by a 52-46 final score at Halenbeck Hall Saturday afternoon. The Sabres were the #1 seed in Section 8AAA and the Otters entered the game as the fourth seed.

The Sabres led for much of Saturday's game but watched Fergus Falls come back early in the second half. The Otters finally took the lead with 9:19 left in the game when Austin Rund drove the lane for a layup to give Fergus Falls a 36-35 advantage.

The Otters were led by Rund with 14 points on 6-16 shooting, and freshman Matthew Monke had 11 points in the win.

The Sabres were led by senior Tom Bearson with 15 points in the loss.

Sartell- Bearson 15, Tillotson 9, Snoberger 9, Och 5, Markman 4, Neeser 2, Gieske 2

Fergus Falls- Rund 14, Monke 11, Pearson 9, Lemke 6, King 4, Banks 3, Strom 2
