Rox Sunk By Anchors Despite Building Early Lead

The Rox blew a 5-0 lead after two innings in a 7-6 loss to the lowly Blue Anchors last night at Joe Faber Field.

Adam Martin hit a solo home run in the first inning, and Chris Paul had a two-run shot in the second over the left-field scoreboard, but St. Cloud could not hang on for the win.

The Rox fall to 10-16 on the season and have been eliminated from first half playoff contention, 8.5 games out of first place.

The Rochester Honkers come to town tonight with a record of 15-10, in third place.
