THUNDER BAY - The St. Cloud Rox and Thunder Bay Border Cats each took a game during a doubleheader matchup on Friday night.

The Rox won the first game 4-1 and the Border Cats picked up 2-0 win during the second game.

The doubleheader was held due to rain the day before.

Rox pitcher Nick McCarty went six plus innings for St. Cloud in game one, scattering nine hits and walking one.

The Rox are now 12-6 overall this year. They return to Joe Faber Field on Saturday to start a two-game series with the Kenosha Kingfish. First pitch will be at 6:05 p.m. (5:35 pregame on AM1390 The Fan). Josh Taylor will start for St. Cloud, who has won three straight games at Joe Faber Field.
