The St. Cloud Rox defeated Thunder Bay 8-4 Thursday night.  St. Cloud scored 6 runs in the 1st inning and held on from there.  Chris Paul was 2-5 with 3 RBIs, Elvin Soto went 2-4 with 2 RBIs and Boo Vazquez and Nick Tanielu were each 2-4 with 1 RBI for the Rox.  Tony Mollica threw 4 shutout innings in relief to earn the win.  Tadd Johansen threw the first 4 innings with 3 earned runs allowed for St. Cloud.

The Rox are 14-13 in the 2nd half of the season and are 2 1/2 games back of Willmar for first place in the 2nd half North Division standings.

St. Cloud will host Thunder Bay at 7:05 tonight, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.  Righthander Andy Urban will get the start for St. Cloud.  The Rox will have fireworks following the game tonight.
